TJ is an expert in organizational strategy, assessment, psychometrics, nonprofit management, education leadership, and philanthropy. He earned a PhD in education research, evaluation, and measurement from Brigham Young University and a MSc in Ecology from the University of Nebraska. TJ is the Chief Academic Officer at the State Board of Education in Idaho. Previously, he served as Chief Advancement Officer at Wiki Education, Program Officer at the William and Flora Hewlett Foundation, and Director of Assessment and Accountability at the State Department of Education in Idaho.
