Jeff Lingwall, JD, PhD

Jeff has consulted, taught, and published on a wide range of statistical and economic topics, such as educational accountability, public health, data visualization, consumer financial protection, blockchain-based contracting, and predictive modeling in high-stakes litigation. After completing multiple degrees in statistics, he earned two doctorates, a JD from the Yale Law School and a PhD in Economics and Public Policy from Carnegie Mellon University. Jeff is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Management at Boise State University. He previously taught commercial law and data science at Truman State University, practiced class action and medical device product liability defense law, and clerked for the Eighth Circuit Court of Appeals.
